Supreme God Shiva is seen in this facet with eight hands. The Trinity status of combined unity of Lord Shiva, Lord Vishnu and Lord Brahma are the root cause for the routine happenings of earth and all the worlds.

On one occasion, Lord Brahma asked Lord Vishnu a question referring to the superiority among them. Lord Vishnu ascertained the high rank for Lord Shiva. This incidence turned in to arbitration and Lord Brahma was impressing much to his duty of creation and spoke against Lord Shiva who got angry and as a punishment He picked out one of the heads of Lord Brahma. There were five heads to Lord Brahma.
